Wine Tourism Services (Tasting Room Experience)

Criteria
  • A short description of your Property and Services linked to the chosen category is required. Note that this description will be used on the Great Wine Capitals website and Best Of brochure. No amendments can be made.
  • Should you become a winner of a Best Of Wine Tourism Award, how do you plan to promote this award? (Please be specific).
  • What makes your service different and excellent for your customers in this particular category?
  • What is the impact of your service and its contribution to tourism, and especially wine tourism, and to the economy in your region?
  • Do you network with other regional institutions/services, especially related to wine?
  • In the tasting room, how do you communicate your activities related to wine tourism?
  • Explain how you see the experience / service you offer as being a value for money experience.
  • What educational opportunities are available to staff in the area of Wine tourism and/or appreciation?
  • Do you tasting room staff visit other wineries? How often?
  • Do you staff actively promote other wine tourism activities in your region?
  • Do you provide training in wine sales?
  • What services do your staff offer in terms of facilitating international shipping?
  • Do you accept all credit cards, including AMEX and Diners Club?
  • Are tasting notes and order forms provided on arrival?
  • Are tastings by appointment only?
