Criteria
  • Give details of the Authentic SA Experience in Wine Tourism being entered.
  • Name of Concept/Product/Service/Other
  • Motivate why your wine experience is authentically South African and explain how it promotes our cultural heritage
  • Explain how the authentic experience is introduced or presented to the visitor
  • Upload Testimonials and/or any relevant images or videos, which are especially useful in this category.

Additional Elements the judges may consider when assessing the entry:

    • Does authenticity come alive in the experience?
    • Motivate why your Wine Tourism experience is authentically and uniquely South African (how it can only be found in South Africa) and explain how it promotes our cultural heritage
    • Does it promote our cultural heritage through food and wine?
    • Does the experience resonate with the venue/establishment?
    • Explain how the authentic experience is introduced or presented to the visitor and clearly note if it is offered/available to all visitors at all times; or if it is a part of a separate experience
    • Why do you think it is an Authentic SA Experience?
    • Pictures are useful – pictures to be included in application or called for.
    • Any marketing material – digital or print – to be forwarded or uploaded.
